Far North Queensland (FNQ) has the right climate, near the equator with rainfall and sun. While challenges exist, there are rewards from growing high-quality cocoa in FNQ. It’s not for the faint hearted but Chris Jahnke did it; so why not you? If you have access to some available hectares, why not give it a go.
Australians love chocolate
- Australian-grown cocoa, with its unique flavour profiles, commands premium prices.
- A likely global shortage of cocoa is an impetus for FNQ.
We are world class agriculturalists
